The Carnival will delay opening, re-evailuating at 4 pm for a possible 6 pm opening.
The Fair will open with this advise from the County:
Fair Employees and Performers: Hazardous air quality and extreme heat are expected today and continue tomorrow.
Ag. Fair employees and performers have the option to limit or avoid outdoor work if they have health concerns, are experiencing symptoms, or do not feel comfortable working in these conditions. Please use your best judgment and respect the judgment of others. You know your personal limitations best. If you need to come indoors, take additional breaks, or discuss work adjustments, notify your supervisor and do so. Stay hydrated and take breaks indoors whenever possible. Your health and safety are our priority.
Heat and Air Quality Advisory
The Agricultural Fair is closely monitoring extreme heat and hazardous air quality conditions expected today and continuing into tomorrow.
The safety of our visitors, employees, performers, vendors, and volunteers is our priority. If you attend the Fair, please take precautions:
- Stay hydrated and take breaks in shaded or indoor areas when possible.
- Limit strenuous activity and listen to your body.
- Consider limiting extended time outdoors.
- If you experience symptoms such as coughing, shortness of breath, dizziness, or chest pain, move to a cooler area and seek assistance.
Please use your best judgment and take care of yourself and others. We will continue monitoring conditions and provide updates as needed. |
